In the early days TermoDeck concentrated on office type buildings but it soon became apparent that the advantages of TermoDeck were also applicable to universities and school buildings, hotels, theatres, hospitals, prisons, banks and public buildings generally, and even to certain apartments and condominiums.

Since 1990 the mix between types of building has been more balanced, as it has become clear that almost any building designed to accommodate people can benefit from incorporating the TermoDeck System.

Until June 2007, over 380 buildings incorporating TermoDeck had been completed with a total area exceeding 1,5 million sqm. As indicated above most of these, around 280, are commercial (offices, banks and similar), but there are also around 50 educational, 12 medical buildings, 7 hotels, 5 libraries, 4 law courts, 3 theatres, 3 shopping centres, 3 apartment buildings, 1 hospital and a few industrial ones.
