An energy efficient solution all year around is achieved due to heat storage of the heat gains in the concrete floor slabs. This allows for free night cooling and off peak cooling while the building will be mainly heated by persons, lights, equipment and sun radiation.

 

TermoDeck differs from other energy saving systems because the overall construction cost is not higher than conventional buildings as no extra equipment is added.

New Licensee for Spain and Portugal

TermoDeck has signed an exclusive agreement with Prefabricados Castelo to market and sell TermoDeck in Spain and Portugal.

Prefabricados Castelo is one of the largest hollow core slab manufacturers in Spain and they employ over 500 persons.

TermoDeck CEO Bill Fortescue commented "The agreement with Castelo marks the start of a programme to extend the availability of TermoDeck throughout Europe by the appointment of national licensees.
